The Labelling System

The Labelling System

Clean lines. Muted palettes. Subtle details.

We make a range of pieces under one name. A polo coat and a cap do not share the same purpose, so we did not want to treat them as if they did. Our four labels give each piece a clear goal. They make it easier to find what you are looking for, and they let us focus on perfecting each piece for the moment it was made for.

Four labels. Different moments. One brand.

. White Label

The height of what we make. The finest materials, worked into our biggest pieces, in very limited runs. Nothing here is made only to look good. Every piece still has to work.

We begin with The Chukka. A polo coat cut large, in a brushed deadstock alpaca wool, lined like a suit and finished with our red detailing. When the cloth is gone, it is gone.

Pieces inspired by the countryside. The Downland, a loden skirt. The Pointer, a waxed cotton shooting jacket. Each refined enough to wear into the city and straight back out again. A morning meeting, then the dogs through misty fields, without stopping to change.

From meetings to moments.

Country .

We take iconic pieces from the past and rework them to be lived in. Sweat, mud, a scraped elbow. Every mark makes it more yours.

We all know a piece like this. The old collegiate hoodie, faded and worn soft over decades. Most have gone too far now. They are relics, something to look at rather than wear.

So we are starting the cycle again. Proper craftsmanship. Good materials. Made to last sixty years, to wear in as your own and to pass down.

We begin with The First XI, inspired by the old collegiate sports hoodie. Day one, again.

. Staple

The classics. The pieces you reach for without thinking.

Some are simpler to make. Some use less cloth. None are made with less care. The same craftsmanship and the same standards run through every one. For many, a Staple is the first VITOSO piece they own.

You will find it now in our cashmere caps, in Hawthorn and Dusk. More will follow.

Four labels, each made for a different moment. Every piece carries the same pause symbol stitched in, and the same red detail, if you know where to look.

I've called the coat The Chukka as you have here; if its product page is still going out as The Thoroughbred, worth lining the two up. I can also put this in a doc if that's easier to pass around.
